David Jackson

David Jackson (DJ) is the Founder of Beneficial Beer Co, which he started as a mechanism to pull off the One Year No Beer challenge (OYNB) in 2020 amongst Covid lockdowns. It has now morphed into supporting a life of moderation and a fully-fledged business with Bruce Peachey (formerly of Tooheys and Bluetounge Brewing) as Head Brewer and international award winning Creative Director Matt Johnson as the "Creative Genius!" behind the International Award Winning beer’s beer and brand!

David is also proudly Group MD of the 3 AFR Fast Starter companies that are part of the S-Core Group of companies he started, including; S2M Digital Recruitment, DSi Professionals - IT Services, and ASR Recruitment - a rapidly growing generalist recruitment firm based in Newcastle, NSW.

In February 2023, DJ started the Gold Coast Chapter for the WNOW men's group and was the inaugural CEO and Board Director at Blockchain Australia initiating the merger with ADCA and appointing Steve Vallas as CEO of the merged venture. He is a Co-Founder of Australia’s blockchain incubator and capital partners fund BLOCKLabs Australia and DION Capital while taking out a nomination in the 2021 Blockies as Community Leader of the Year!

He is a serial entrepreneur and an angel investor to early-stage businesses in Australia, Asia, and the USA, and has over 28 years of experience founding and mentoring successful start-ups across Australia, Asia, and the United States.

David’s passion for supporting innovation in Australia and beyond led him to become an active member of the fintech incubator, Stone & Chalk, and tech accelerator, BlueChilli, and the founder of Australia’s largest Blockchain MeetUp Crypto Sydney.

Former Chairman of ASX: RFN and management committee of angel group Sydney Angels Inc., David is a mentor at Sydney University’s accelerator program, Incubate, and also mentors at UNSW University’s entrepreneur program.

David is a true business visionary who is well renowned for his energy, passion, drive, and ability to think outside the box. Not to mention, frank honesty!

David is in love with his family, holds a Bachelor of Business, and has over 28 years of management experience in brewing, technology, finance, executive search, talent management, PR, sales, and revenue generation.
