I’m an experienced professional adviser working with both established and early stage businesses to assist them with key transactions – to sell the business, to acquire businesses, to raise capital or to list on the ASX. I also work with early stage businesses as a hands-on adviser and angel investor to help grow and to increase the value
of the business.
Previously a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Private Clients and Mergers & Acquisitions groups, I have a strong background in accounting and finance and can quickly assist with understanding the financial drivers of a business and how to better leverage financial performance and improve value.
I’ve been involved with over 100 acquisition, sale or capital raising transactions, and have provided advice and guidance to many more companies about growth strategies. I’ve undertaken significant early stage; high growth and commercialisation work with clients over many years. I’m an experienced non-executive director. I’m also an investor and mentor to early stage businesses and sit on the management committee of Sydney Angels, one of Australia’s leading angel investment groups.
I co-founded SolarCloud – an innovative solar company that lets anyone, anywhere, get the benefits of solar power (as both a user of the energy and as an owner of the panel) and recently stepped down as a non-executive director as it continued its progress.
My consulting and advisory experience is balanced from also having worked directly inside commercial environments having completed several medium term secondments in large organisations assisting with special projects including acquisitions, divestments and restructuring.
